Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I fit the blade to the saw frame?

Loosen the nut near the handle grip. Hook the blade on the front axis and then the rear axis (teeth angle facing back towards the handle grip). Tighten the nut to secure the blade. Locate/press the front axis of the saw frame against a firm surface (take care not to damage finished surfaces). Press/Push the handle to compress the frame. Retighten the nut AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE (the tighter the nut, the better the saw performance).

  2. How do I change the blade direction?

Loosen and remove the blade. Remove the front axis and rotate it to change between Up/Down or Left/Right modes. Loosen Nut and turn rear axis to match front axis. Then refit the saw blade as per blade tightening instructions.
