"I recently purchased a 2100 Electro-File kit. This little gem is one of the handiest and best designed hobby sanders that I have ever used. There is almost no vibration and very little noise. The attachments are easily removed and inserted. If fact, I have made some specialized sanding pads using 1/8 inch brass rods soldered to various widths of brass strips. The brass strips can be shaped and slightly bent to an angle in order to sand difficult to reach areas. It is easy to apply peal and stick sandpaper to both surfaces of the pads.

It is a great device and well worth the price. It sands efficiently and gently. I wish you folks had offered this Electro-File about 40 years-ago.

"This is one of the best tools I own. I restore old clocks and I use it constantly but there are places I cannot use it because of the long stroke. If you could make the stroke adjustable the file would be worth more to me. Also, if the wand that holds the sandpaper were square it would be easier to get the paper square with the file."

“First let me say how pleased I am with my new Electro-Filer. It's just the tool I have been looking for a long time. I hate filing and sanding in small places and this tool does the trick. It saves me so much time and energy... and at my age I need saving.

I attached photos to show two uses, one the file or sander in tight spots and in the other I filed down a rifer handle to fit the Electro-file. The rifer is curved to help shape round objects in small places. It's like filing blind but with great results.
Sometime in the future you may want to consider including some straight and curved rifers for wood working. I know a lot of my carving friends would welcome a energy saving tool like that.

Scale" magazine. I first used it to cut twelve 9mm square "freeing ports" in
the sides of a model ship I was building. I was nervous about using a power
tool because the sides of the model were made of 1 mm thick limewood strips
covered with .5 mm thick walnut strips. I worried for nothing - the finished
ports were done in no time and came out perfect - not even finish sanding
